YOU CAN HELP DURING OUR WORSHIP SERVICES

ACOLYTES - Elementary-age children through adults who serve during worship services by doing such ministries as carrying the cross, helping with the offering plates, or serving the priest at the altar. Contact Fr. Bruce Chabot„ (bruce.Chabot@tamu.edu) or call 936-825-7726.

ADULT CHOIR and/or WORSHIP TEAM - The Adult Choir is currently on an extended sabbatical, but there is interest in getting the Choir or another type of music group re-established at St. Paul's to help lead worship at the 10:30 AM service on Sundays and on special Holy Days. If you would be interested in being part of leading the musical part of our worship, please contact Fr. Bruce Chabot„ (bruce.Chabot@tamu.edu) or call 936-825-7726.

ALTAR FLOWERS - Provide flowers for the altar on Sundays or at other special liturgical events. Contact the Church Office (office@stpaulsnavasota.com) or call 936-825-7726.

ALTAR GUILD - Assists in preparing the church altar and sanctuary for worship services and for the administration of sacraments. Contact Gail Boone (gailyboone@aol.com).

LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS - Persons licensed by the Bishop at the recommendation of the Rector to administer the bread or wine at any Celebration of Holy Eucharist in the absence of a sufficient number of Priests or Deacons assisting the Celebrant. LAY READERS - Persons licensed by the Bishop at the recommendation of the Rector to lead Morning or Evening Prayer. Contact Fr. Bruce Chabot„ (bruce.Chabot@tamu.edu) or call 936-825-7726.

LECTORS - Persons trained in reading of Holy Scripture and appointed without license by the Rector to read lessons or lead the Prayers of the People. Contact Fr. Bruce Chabot„ (bruce.Chabot@tamu.edu) or call 936-825-7726.

OBLATIONERS - Persons who carry forward and present the bread and wine on behalf of the congregation at the offertory. To be added to the Lay Ministry Schedule, contact Donna Jones (djones@athletics.tamu.edu).

USHERS - Assist during the offertory; assist persons with finding available seating and those with special needs. To be added to the Lay Ministry Schedule, contact Donna Jones (djones@athletics.tamu.edu).

*** If you are already on the Lay Ministry Schedule and want to change your date of service or give input into dates you would like to serve, please contact Donna Jones (djones@athletics.tamu.edu) who does all the scheduling of these ministries on a monthly basis. Please let her know of your preferences by the 15th of the month preceding the next month to be scheduled.
